Anna Silk

Anna Silk, born January 31st 1974 in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada is an actress most well-known for her role as Bo in The Showcase series Lost Girl. Silk was a native of Fredericton, New Brunswick in Canada. Ilkay Silk and Peter Silk are the fathers of Silk. Ilkay is a playwright and director and is a drama teacher in St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna can recall some of the earliest moments of her existence, such as taking part in rehearsals of plays. Silk played in a variety of commercials for children. She received a Bachelor's of Arts in 1997 from St. Thomas University in 1997. Theatre St. Thomas has produced two productions in the early years: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. Silk relocated to Toronto in the year 1999 to Los Angeles during the decade that followed 1999. Seth Cooperman is her future husband, who she first was introduced to during her time in Los Angeles at an Actors workshop. They got married in December 2009 following a civil ceremony. After she had converted to Judaism, they were married again in the Jewish ceremony on the 10th of April 2011, in Fredericton. Silk Cooperman was born in May of 2013, and her son was called Samuel Jerome Cooperman. Levi Aaron is her second baby boy, who was born on the 13th May, 2016. Silk is well-known for her tv role in the role of Cassidy Holland, in Being Erica. In 2009, she received nominations from for the Gemini Awards. The Canadian drama Lost Girl cast her as Bo Dennis, the lead character of a succubus. Silk was expecting while filming the finale of the third series. The actress announced her pregnancy to the fans in her Showcase Season Three pre-show special that aired on the 6th of January, 2013. Silk is doing work on the show since the season's third finale episode premiered on the 6th of January, 2013, announced on Twitter her readiness to return on June 4, 2013 when Showcase and Prodigy Pictures began production on the fourth. CNN's Cable News Network named her performance as Bo as well as Lauren (Zoie Parker) in Lost Girl as same-sex couples among their top TV Couples. E! named the couple as the top TV Couple in 2013.
